  • In person and online education

Centuries of mandatory in-person schooling have fostered a culture within schools and universities where popular, athletic students bully their less fortunate peers. Recently, however, social media has begun to provide mechanisms for redress.

As the gap between affluent and impoverished areas widens, an in-person education system that perpetuates such segregation—through a divide between elite schools and substandard ones—has become obsolete. Online education offers global opportunities for everyone.

As the concept of redundancy becomes ingrained in the digital mindset, we have developed the habit of maintaining multiple access points—fixed connections, mobile data, and reliable internet hubs in various locations. The excuse that one cannot fulfill obligations due to a lack of connectivity is no longer valid.

As the costs of in-person education become prohibitive, and people realize budget savings by avoiding unnecessary travel for matters that can be handled online, the competition posed by online education has become formidable.
